The Registration and Records Associate provides administrative and front-line support to the Registration and Records Department. Duties include, but are not limited to, processing, registering, and withdrawing student enrollments; processing transcript requests; maintaining the integrity and compliance of student records; utilizing the student information system (Banner); and providing excellent customer service to multiple constituencies including students, parents, faculty, and administrators. Other duties include processing purchase requisitions; researching and troubleshooting issues; and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

This a non-exempt staff position.

Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement.

An associate degree or the equivalent from a college, technical, business, or vocational school and one to three years of customer service and administrative support experience are required.  Experience providing customer service in a higher education setting preferred.

Applicants must be proficient in a Windows-based computer environment, including experience in database entry; have the ability to maintain confidentiality of information and documents as required by FERPA; and possess excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
