POSITION SUMMARY : Provide individual, group, family and couples counseling for patients of all ages in a behavioral health outpatient setting. Must be able to assess, diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders. Demonstrate proficiency in providing evidenced based treatment modalities. Provide education to department in areas of proficiency (i.e. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy) through workshops or lectures. Provide clinical supervision of entry level Clinical Therapists.
Provide healthcare services consistent with state law and the requirements of the professional licensing or certification authority and/or hospital privileges, where applicable. Such service may include, but are not limited to.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Master’s Degree in Related Field
Terminal Licensure in Related Field
Certified in an evidenced based treatment modality (i.e. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy) or other advanced training certification.
Certified to perform Clinical Supervision.
Two (2) years’ experience.
