AVAILABLE:                      Immediately.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled, with teaching responsibilities beginning August 2022. 

SALARY/RANK:                Commensurate with qualifications and experience.  This is a tenure track position.

QUALIFICATIONS:           Master’s Degree in a Communication related area is required; a Ph.D. is preferred. A history of teaching digital media-related courses in higher education is required. Full-time experience in the digital media field as a web designer, illustrator, or photographer also is required.  Applicant should have extensive experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, web development and management tools, digital photography and photo editing software, and prior experience producing and posting content for social media to serve an organization and/or an academic institution. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:        This is a 9-month position with teaching responsibilities of twelve credit hours per semester as background and curricular needs dictate, duties such as committee assignments, advising, curriculum development, internship facilitation, and recruitment of students are also expected.
