Job Description:

This position will perform general lab support including basic biochemical analyses; plasmid, tissue, or gel prep; spectrometry. Glassware washing; autoclaving; media, solution, and buffer prep; replenishes supplies; perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.

• Works on routine assignments where moderate judgment and initiative are required to resolve problems
• Some assignments may be moderately complex. No instruction on routine assignments and general instructions on new assignments
• Works under moderate supervision.
• Details of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.

Expected Salary:

Commensurate with experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained. Requires a minimum of 3+ years of related experience. Associate degree candidates, (scientific discipline), requires 2+ years of previous related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous lab technician experience preferred.
