The Department of Biology and Environmental Science at the University of New Haven is pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Microbiology beginning August 2018.

We seek to hire a dynamic teacher-scholar to teach and supervise student research at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Ph.D. or MD in Microbiology or closely related field in-hand by September 2018. Research specialization open, clinical microbiology is a plus. University-level teaching experience required, as well as a commitment to student-centered learning and evidence-based pedagogies. Our department is focused on fostering student success, by addressing the educational and academic needs of a diverse student population. Our new colleague will be expected to establish a vigorous program of high quality, externally funded research.
