Job Summary/Basic Function

The Fill-in Custodian person is called in on an as needed basis. This person may work several hours in one week and then none in subsequent weeks until new needs arise. The job involves building and grounds responsibilities including custodial and light maintenance. This person is expected to perform with a degree of independence and judgement.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Ability to operate power equipment
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Demonstrated custodial experience
• Documented experience as a custodian
• At least one year of general maintenance experience including basic painting, wall repair, electrical or carpentry

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
