The Business Administration Department at AUIS invites
applications for the position of Lecturer or Assistant/ Associate/
Full Professor of Business Administration. The successful candidate
will be required to teach a variety of courses related to general
business, management, and marketing. The regular teaching load is
four courses per spring and fall semester with a maximum of three
preps each. Opportunities for short-term graduate teaching or
compressed summer and winter teaching may be available for
- Developing new courses as needed
- Student advising, particularly relating to course
- Participating in service activities and faculty governance
- Maintaining professional scholarship
The ideal candidate exhibits the following characteristics:
- An earned Ph.D. in Management or a related field at the time of
appointment, with the ability to teach a variety of different
courses in the areas of general business, management, and
- Applicants with Master’s degrees are considered for Lecturer
positions; in exceptional cases, they may be hired as Assistant
Professor of Practice.
- A distinguished record of teaching in the broad areas of
general business, management, and marketing.
- Evidence of the ability to generate quality research or
equivalent intellectual contributions.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with IACBE or AACSB accreditation preferred.

The AUIS Business Administration Department offers undergraduate
programs leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration, with concentrations in Accounting, Economics,
Management, and other fields. The department also offers a
successful MBA degree. The curricula are supported by
