Position: Pharmacologist or Toxicologist

 

The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology is seeking faculty members at the Assistant Professor level. The applicants must hold a PhD, MD, or their equivalent, and must have had at least two years of post-doctoral research training in the fields of pharmacology or toxicology, with evidence of research productivity as a primary investigator. There is particular interest in developing the areas of cardiovascular pharmacology, neuropharmacology, cancer pharmacology, clinical pharmacology and toxicology, although all specialties will be entertained.

Department faculty are expected to establish independent and focused research, teach pharmacology, toxicology and therapeutics to medical, nursing and graduate students, train graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, and provide service to the University. Applications for higher-level positions (Associate Professor or Professor) will be considered based on the experience and achievements of the applicant.
