The University of Dayton is seeking an energetic and innovative individual that seeks to work with students and families in the college search process. This position will report to the Director of Regional Recruitment and Admission, based in a home office located in northeast Ohio. The Regional Enrollment Manager NE Ohio will manage assigned territory through high school visits, individual appointments with students, families, and school counselors, and territory-specific programming to build a funnel of applicants, admits, and matriculants. The Regional Enrollment Manager NE Ohio will advise students and families through the admission and financial aid process. The primary territories will be the highly engaged Northeast Ohio and Buffalo, New York regions.

A successful individual will lead and manage a partnership with Say Yes Cleveland, an organization focused on supporting student success in post-secondary education, coordinating and executing an innovative and strategic recruitment strategy through high school visits, college fair participation, innovative events within the territory, engaging with diverse audiences and external partners. Professional responsibilities include, timely follow up with students, families, external partners within the territory, support to the Office of Recruitment and Admission through staff scheduling of phones, emails, virtual appointments, and some marquee on-campus events, serving on the Campus Visit advisory committee to ensure alignment of campus visits and territory programming. Additionally, this position will collaborate with team members and campus partners to continue staff development around self-awareness, inclusivity, and becoming an anti-racist university as well as the Strategic Partnership team on the intentional programming for multi-ethnic students and families. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in college admission, financial aid, and/or student services.
Commitment to inclusivity and working with the university towards becoming an anti-racist institution.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, can work independently, and have excellent communication, public speaking, and relationship management skills.
Valid driver's license with low risk driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Master's degree with at least years of experience in college admission, financial aid, and/or student services at the high school or college level.

Knowledge and sensitivity to Catholic and Marianist principles of education and values.
Demonstrated experience working with families, students, and external partners of diverse backgrounds.
Experience with common student enrollment systems/relational databases, such as Banner, Salesforce, and Target X.
Strong oral communication skills including presentations.
Previous experience evaluating international academic credentials.
Ability to lead training and development sessions focused on recruitment strategies to support strategic populations

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide. With this development, the University will pause any enforcement action against employees who have not complied with the requirement to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8, 2021 or to have requested an exemption to maintain their employment status.

The University will continue to monitor the state of the pandemic on campus and in the community as well as developments in federal and state requirements, and also will continue to regularly consult with public health officials and our medical panel. As has been the case throughout the pandemic, our protocols and requirements are subject to change depending on conditions on campus or in our community, and government requirements.
