Job Description
The University of Missouri School of Law invites applications for a part-time Office Support Assistant IV to perform a variety of administrative, legal assistance, and logistical duties within our Veterans Clinic.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative and legal assistant services and support for clinic instructors/supervising attorneys, veterans services specialist, clients, and students
- Assisting with clinic paper and electronic filing systems
- Assisting with clinic events, including an annual symposium, continuing legal education programs, and veteran outreach events
- Assisting with data tracking, client database, and maintenance of mailing lists
- Assisting with all incoming and outgoing communications with the clinic generally, including phone calls, emails, and daily logging activities
- Preparing and filing clinic documents while maintaining a high level of confidentiality
- Preparing and documenting new and closed client files
- Other duties as assigned
Salary
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
Salary Range: $13.27 - $18.50/ hour
Grade: GGS-006

Shift
Part-time, 20 hours per week. Schedule to be agreed upon with supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor's degree is preferred. Military experience is preferred, but not required. Proven Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint skills required.
Successful candidates will provide outstanding customer service with a "can do" attitude, along with the ability to successfully work efficiently and independently.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, interested in helping veterans and law school students, patient, kind, empathetic, and able to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing. A very high level of organizational ability is required.
