Job Description:
The ERP Systems Analyst assists functional support activities for
College’s ERP system including requirement gathering,
documentation, testing and report generation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Works with key stakeholders to analyze business processes and
develop and maintain applications to meet customer needs
•Creates queries and generates reports in support of operations or
as requested by functional users
•Collaborates with systems analyst and technical developers to
provide Tier II production support
•Supports functional testing cycles, defect tracking, and
resolutions
•Develops functional specifications detailing logic, configuration,
and security requirements to be implemented
•Works with functional owners, uses knowledge to create business
workflows, identify and implement solutions to meet needs
•Develops and maintains documentation on requirements, functional
specifications, testing procedures and configuration
•Monitors ongoing operations and performs activities to assist with
performance tuning and troubleshooting of application issues
Minimum Requirements:
•Minimum of (5) years of system analyst experience in specific
business domain and related PeopleSoft ERP system modules
•Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Query Manager and SQL queries and
scripts
•Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of
individuals and constituencies
•Experience working with end-users to analyze needs and define
requirements
•Demonstrated experience developing training materials, training
and supporting end-users
•Knowledge of the current and developing information technology
services requirements in a large educational institution
•Familiar with software project lifecycle approaches and
techniques
