Data Analyst for Learning Analytics, School of Education

Job Descriptions Notre Dame of Maryland University's School of Education is growing and expanding due to its comprehensive program offerings and recognition as the second largest educator of teachers in the State. The School offers both State and NCATE accredited programs ranging from baccalaureate through the doctoral level.

 

The School of Education is accepting applications for a full-time data analyst for learning analytics position. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability in data collection, analysis, reporting, and dissemination, as well as the use of data to inform key decisions. This position is responsible for data collection and analysis to support CAEP accreditation and related professional reports, data for federal and state reports, internal data base management and tracking, learning outcomes analytics, Brightspace course data, and school specific reporting and requirements.

Job Qualifications The qualified candidate will have Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred and at least 3 years of experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting in higher education settings. Knowledge of teacher preparation programs in Maryland is preferred. Requires strong interpersonal skills; facility with data collection and analysis; familiarity with statistical software systems and other online data management systems.
