Salary for Announcement

The salary range is $54,900-$68,650 .
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. MSU Denver offers a full benefits package.
This is a temporary three-year position with intent to make it a permanent position.

Position Summary

The Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement is an essential member of University Advancement responsible for creating and executing and supporting comprehensive and innovative alumni career services programs that create impactful engagement between alumni and the University. The Assistant Director participates as an active member of the Alumni Relations team and reports directly to the Senior Director of Alumni Engagement to create and evaluate strategies as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities

65% Alumni Career Services Program Support, Implementation and Delivery
· Oversee career support program development and execution for Alumni Engagement and stewardship initiatives;
· Serve as a liaison to MSU Denver’s Classroom to Career Hub;
· Organize, schedule and promote all existing career support benefits and services;
· Create and implement comprehensive career support programming for recent graduates;
· Support the curation of career outcomes data.

25% Alumni Mentor and Volunteer Opportunities
· Provide leadership for all alumni mentors participating in campus mentoring initiatives;
· Oversee the Roadrunner Alumni Advisor Network;
· Oversee the Roadrunner Roster – Alumni Guest Speaker program;
· Create and implement new opportunities for alumni engagement and career support.

10% Other Duties as Assigned
· Assist with digital communications including email and social media;
· Assist with fulfillment of program related needs;
· Track program participation data;
· Maintain and update alumni contact reports and other prospect data; and
· Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Alumni Engagement

Required Qualifications

1) Bachelor’s degree.
2) Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
3) Minimum 3 years experience in career services program development and/or management
4) Experience conducting program evaluation.
5) Experience providing customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

1) Experience working in Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM software.
2) Evidence of successful creation, implementation and evaluation of projects.
3) Experience working in higher education.
4) Demonstrated skills at building collaborative relationships with internal and external constituents;
5) Must possess excellent organization skills.
6) Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Hours

M-F 8am-5pm
Weekends and evenings as needed.
Hours may vary during peak periods.
This position may offer a Hybrid (on-campus and Virtual) work option.
