Job Description: Teaching AST 100 Astronomy Survey

Education Requirements: Master’s degree in astronomy or astrophysics; or physics with 18 credit hours in appropriate graduate-level astronomy and/or physics courses; or a master’s degree in a related field and 18 credit hours in appropriate graduate-level astronomy and/or physics courses.

Experience Requirements: Recent college-level teaching experience, lab development, and ability to work with course management systems such as Blackboard are the preferred qualifications. The teaching requirement may be fulfilled through a program of supervised teaching as a graduate student.
