Position Details

Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
Teach 12 credit hours each semester (undergraduate) in the School of Teaching and Learning. Serve on committees, work with area school districts, supervise students in various settings. Teach Monday-Friday during the day and possibly evenings. Courses taught include, but are not limited to, TESOL, Multiple Literacies, ESL Methodology and Content Literacy. Applicants with an earned doctorate may have the opportunity to teach graduate courses. Educational Requirements for the Position
Doctorate in Literacy, TESOL or related field. Experience Required for the Position
At least 3-5 years successful teaching in a secondary school setting. Experience working with diverse learners in a school environment and in differentiating instruction. Other Requirements for the Position Special Instructions Summary Open Until Filled Yes
