The Dean of Students Office is seeking an Associate Director,
Student Conduct & Conflict Resolution – Boca Raton, FL.
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the
Associate Dean and Director for Student Conduct to promote the
educational purpose of the university student conduct process with
staff and students and to ensure due process for all students
involved in student conduct process. This position assists with the
implementation of an administrative student conduct programs
including coordinating and planning in administration and
evaluation of university student conduct process and serving as a
resource on discipline and university conduct matters for students,
faculty, staff, and the community.
Summary of Responsibilities Include:
- Adjudicates and investigates alleged residential student
- Develops and supervises conduct training and development of
activities related to the conduct process for residential life
staff including student hearing boards and university hearing
- Develops and manages an on-going assessment model to produce
information on student conduct and behavioral trends for purposes
of planning and provide periodic statistical reports annually.
- Maintain and update the Student Conduct database and
- Coordinates the development, review, and revision of all rules,
regulations, and procedures relating to student conduct, including
housing regulations (community standards) as identified in
University Regulation 4.007.
- Serves as a member of the Student Crisis Awareness Committee
and Student Intervention Team in responding to student crisis
situations and students of interest/concerns.
- Provides resources, information, and referrals to students who
have been alleged to have violated the Anti-Discrimination and
Anti-Harassment regulation under the Florida Atlantic University
Student Code of Conduct.
- Assists with additional administrative, programming and case
management tasks as needed.
- Coordinates the academic integrity process as identified in
University Regulation 4.001. This process includes coordination
with College Deans, Associate Deans, Department chairs and faculty
to ensure that the academic integrity process is administered
fairly and consistently.
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate
area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or
