Position Summary:

The University of Wisconsin Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology seeks candidates for clinical faculty positions in Gastroenterology. This is an exciting opportunity to inaugurate a new service for coordinated inpatient and outpatient care at The American Center (TAC). The holders of the positions described here will bring a new service to TAC, and establish a new base for the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. The physicians based at TAC will provide consultative and standard endoscopic services for inpatients at TAC in daytime hours from Monday to Friday. In addition they will provide outpatient services in both consultative gastroenterology and GI endoscopy, thereby enhancing our services to UW Health patients living in the areas adjacent to TAC. These physicians will also participate in the Divisions outreach endeavors, and will attend at the other locations such as the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Meriter Hospital, the UW Health Digestive Health Center. The appointed gastroenterologists will be fully integrated into the professional life of the Division. Duties will also include teaching fellows, medical residents and students, and participation in scholarly activities which may include participation in research.
