Job/Department Summary:

The Functional Lead Student Records Module position will test, evaluate, and troubleshoot administrative office systems including Oracle PeopleSoft student information system for the Registrar's office. Additionally, this position compiles, evaluates, and reports statistics for daily operations to support office planning and decision-making, and assists with review, submission, and correction of student enrollment reporting to various agencies. Incumbent will ensure that all process documentation is consistent with systems and applicable policies. Work is performed independently with general supervision provided by Assistant Registrar or University Registrar.

The Office of the Registrar is comprised of Graduation Advising, Academic Publications and Scheduling Services, Articulation, Degree Audit Programming, Student Records and Registration, and Veterans Affairs. The office serves as the point of contact for campus staff, faculty, students, and outsides agencies on questions related to the student information system operation and the student academic record. Daily operations ensure the accuracy and integrity of the student academic record and registration processes from matriculation through graduation for all students.

Mandatory Vaccinations:

The CSU requires faculty, staff, and students who are accessing campus facilities to be fully immunized against COVID-19 or have received a medical or religious exemption. Selected candidates should be prepared to comply with this requirement.

Preferences:

Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills:
  • Bilingual
  • Evaluating and testing student information system, processes, and procedures.
  • Working with student academic records in higher education.
  • Maintaining database software and systems processes.
  • Using PeopleSoft or similar database applications to administer student records.
Required Education and Experience:

Requires a bachelor's degree and/or the equivalent training that has provided a foundational knowledge of analysis, program administration, and administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.
AND
Two years of full-time administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.

Time Base: Full-time- 1.0

Pay Plan: 12/12

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, Summer - Mon-Thurs 7:00am-5:30pm.

Salary and Benefits Information:

$3,897 - $7,051 per month / $46,764 - $84,612 annually (New employees should anticipate being hired at the beginning of the salary range)
