Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 512545), to commence as soon as possible for one to two year(s), with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in cancer/molecular/cellular biology, with strong passion for scientific and clinical research. They should be highly motivated to contribute to patients with immense medical needs, and competent in cell biology and signal transduction pathway research. They should have a good command of English, good interpersonal and communication skills, self-initiation, and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of using software and bioinformatics tools for genomic data analysis is a bonus.
The appointee will participate in a Government-funded project on uterine cancers, and will be performing in-vitro and in-vivo experiments for preclinical drug testing, analyse the mechanisms of drug actions on cellular and signal transduction pathways, and assist in maintaining the smooth running of a research laboratory.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
