The Vice President of Academic Affairs is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and serves as the Chief Academic Officer for the university. The primary responsibility of the VP of Academic Affairs is to oversee all aspects of academic delivery including academic program design and faculty development. This position is responsible for ensuring the University meets or exceeds all programmatic outcomes and performance standards including student graduation, student certification/licensure rates, student employment rates, and student satisfaction rates.
Is also responsible for overseeing instructional design and curriculum development to ensure students are learning through “hands-on,” experiential, adaptive, and innovate learning methods to enable students to complete their academic programs as efficiently as possible, with minimal time and credit hours. The VP of Academic Affairs is responsible for developing strategies for program expansion, new program development and accreditation as well as the hiring of academic leadership and faculty.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Doctorate/terminal degree from accredited institution
- Minimum of five (5) years of practical work experience in a leadership role
- Significant graduate hours in Education or related field
