EdD Part-Time Clinical Adjunct Faculty Pool

Job Description Summary:
University of La Verne's LaFetra College of Education invites applications for part-time clinical faculty opportunities to develop year 1 cohorts and prepare and organize a doctoral-level cohort for the Organizational Leadership doctoral program. The program offers leadership core classes and research classes for doctoral students over three years. Each cohort has specific leadership courses and topics related to research.Year 1 is related to personal leadership, leadership theories, ethics, and social/cultural theories.Year 2 relates to organizational development and theories, cultural proficiencies, justice, and change.Year 3 relates to practical applications of program development, teams, and research support, writing, and publishing.Research includes purpose, research question, literature review, and methodologies.Candidates must hold a doctoral degree and experience at the doctoral level is expected.Research, writing, and publishing experience is preferred.

  • Practical Leadership experience in K-12, Administrative, Higher Ed, Non Profit Orgs, and Business
  • Experience teaching a full semester course
  • Background with technology and learning management systems

  • Experience with program development, project management, and curriculum
  • Experience with research
