Job Description

This is professional psychological work in the administrative and scoring of psychological tests. Work is reviewed by psychologist, and senior psychology technicians. Personal contacts include frequent consultation with patients, psychologists, and co-workers.

Job Responsibilities:
• Administer and score intelligence, personality and other psychological tests, to either individuals or groups.
• Interview new patients to determine that best battery of tests to administer.
• Prepare a written and detailed summary of test results and of patient's behavior during testing.
• Assist in research projects for doctors and graduate students. Tabulate test results and gather and edit medical records. Maintain files of tests administered to patients.
• Rescore tests administered by co-workers for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Salary

Salary Range: $12.46 - $19.62
Grade: PAT 003

Shift

Variable hours Monday – Friday based on employee’s availability and agreement with supervisor. 24 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary with some course work in clinical psychology preferred.
• Knowledge of psychological testing procedures and examinations.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective contact with patients during the administration of tests.
• Ability to interpret standardized mental examination.
