Adjunct Faculty Position(s) in Agricultural Business

The Harold Walter Siebens School of Business seeks dynamic teachers who are committed to excellence in undergraduate agricultural business education.

The Agricultural Business program in the Harold Walter Siebens School of Business was developed in cooperation with the Institute for Agriculture, Food, and Resource Management and is part of BVU’s initiative to offer new agricultural programs in the region. The major is designed to develop in students strong analytical, interpersonal, and professional skills grounded in a comprehensive understanding of contemporary agricultural business. The curriculum emphasizes experiential learning. As such, the program offers students a wide range of applied learning opportunities including internships, practicums, seminars, attendance at professional conferences, and partnering with faculty on research. Course content emphasizes problem solving in a business context.

The successful candidate(s) will develop and teach online agricultural business courses in the undergraduate agricultural business curriculum. The ideal candidates will teach courses in agricultural business, consistent with his/her credentials and interest.

Desired Qualifications

• The position requires candidates to have a graduate degree in Agricultural Business or a related field that includes at least 18 graduate credits in agricultural business, business, or related area.
• Ability to develop and/or teach one or more courses in agricultural business.
• Relevant industry experience preferred.
• Teaching experience at the university level, preferred but not required.
