Temporary Faculty - Business Instructor

Position Summary:
The Temporary Faculty - Business Instructor is a one academic year appointment, teaching core classes within the Department of Business. This position may also be asked to teach courses in specific business disciplines in the department, and/or in the Management Information Systems (MIS) discipline under the Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems. Teaching may include both online and in-person courses. The teaching load for this temporary faculty position is the equivalent of seven 3-credit sections during the academic year, with up to four different preparations. The temporary instructor is responsible for outcomes, curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment, and provides syllabi to the department head both fall and spring semester. The incumbent’s academic year contract includes full-time employee benefits for the duration of the appointment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching





Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching core business courses
  • Knowledge of and ability to instruct within specific disciplines
  • Knowledge of and ability to instruct Management Information Systems courses
