Description
Responsibilities:
- Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance the
University
mission.
- Assist with all aspects of home game and event sports
information tasks - statistics, livestreaming, event staffing,
social media and media relations.
- Assist with creating and publishing digital content for
assigned sports and events.
- Assist with content generation, scheduling and daily management
of social media platforms.
- Assist with updating website content such as rosters,
schedules, bios and press releases.
- Assist with statistical record keeping, research and archiving
for all sports.
- Follow all applicable NCAA, CCIW and Carroll University
policies and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Maintain full time status in an eligible Carroll University
graduate program
- Additional approval is required for entrance in graduate
programs outside of Education
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required - sports management or related field
preferred
- Previous experience with in-game, collegiate sports statistics
keeping highly preferred
- Experience in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is highly
desirable
Human Relations Skills:
- Excellent communication skills as they relate to working with a
variety of constituents.
- Ability to function effectively as a team player within the
program and athletics department.
- Ability to conduct self in a productive, professional manner at
all times, representing Carroll University at the highest level
with University staff, student athletes, alumni and fans.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software and an
ability to quickly learn new technology applications.
Special Requirements:
- Must have valid motor vehicle license and be insurable under
the University's insurance plan.
