Youth Sports Camp Coach
Being a coach for the Mines Youth Sports Camp (YSC) is a highly
sought after position. It is a great way to interact and to share
your passion for sports, group activities, and skill development
with an amazing group of children. Each day you will work in groups
of 3 coaches to teach basic and intermediate skills, team sport
rules, and simply to model and teach camaraderie in a great
setting. Being a coach is a high energy, and sometimes intense job.
We will work to train you in game theory, working with children,
and adapting activity skills to the student’s level of play. There
are four weeks of YSC and our hope is to see you become a better
coach throughout each week of the camp experience.
