About the Position:
Primary Duties of this position include troubleshooting and
correcting routine issues with audio/video hardware and software.
Responding to emergency calls for assistance in the classrooms in a
timely manner and providing on campus event support. Assisting
customers (Faculty, Staff, Students and guests of the University)
with technology questions or issues concerning A/V equipment. This
position is responsible for prioritizing requests for assistance,
providing documentation as needed for customers on use of A/V
hardware and software, and consulting with customers to help
determine technology needs as well as maintaining accurate
inventory records for all campus AV equipment.

with AV equipment in the classrooms, conference rooms and campus

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. A
bachelor's degree is preferred.
A minimum of one (1) year experience in A/V technology support
and minimum one year in customer support experience.
Candidate with advanced understanding of the components used in
A/V systems (including controllers, switchers, projectors, cameras,
speaker connections, etc…) and other equipment used in classroom
and meeting room environments is required. Candidate must also have
advance understanding of setup and use of videoconferencing
Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday from 8:30am - 5:00pm
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal
communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly
across the University and develop and maintain effective
relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also
demonstrate strong written communication skills.
Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the
ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise
