Dean - Ferre Rangel School of Communication

Universidad del Sagrado Corazón seeks a highly skilled, experienced, visionary, creative, and strategic-minded dean to lead the innovation, academic effectiveness, intellectual development, and growth of the Ferré Rangel School of Communications. The successful candidate will report directly to the Provost and be part of an executive staff focused on achieving Sagrado's mission of social transformation through its academic project.

The school is recognized in Puerto Rico as the leader in the training of communicators. The Dean will work with nearly one thousand undergraduate and graduate students and 50+ full-time and part-time professors from various programs, such as strategic and interdisciplinary communication, journalism, international studies, global communication, audiovisual production and film, public relations, digital marketing, and digital storytelling. Will also be responsible for renewing and reimagining meaningful curricular, co-curricular, and professional collaborations to strengthen the school’s visibility. The school has the first and only student-run advertising firm in Puerto Rico and a radio and tv station.

Sagrado is a four-year, private Catholic liberal arts university with a campus located in the vibrant and historic community of Santurce, Puerto Rico. Founded by the Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in 1880, Sagrado is the longest academic project in Puerto Rico. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education fully accredits the University.
