Job Description

UMKC’s Office of Admissions is seeking a self-motivated Admissions CRM Data Specialist, known for their ability to build strong professional relationships and work collaboratively in a team. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Operations, duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining and validating data including resolution of errors in CRM(Slate) or SIS (Peoplesoft).
  • Daily monitoring of scheduled and ad-hoc processes between CRM (Slate) and SIS (Peoplesoft).
  • Loading external data to Slate, including test scores, external applications, prospective student lists, etc.
  • Managing data feeds from Slate to Peoplesoft, Peoplesoft to Slate, and Slate to Imaging System (Perceptive Content), including application loads, decision loads, and matriculation processes.
  • Maintaining knowledge of admissions procedures, including delineation of automated and manual data updates.
  • Developing technical skills to fully utilize Slate functionality.
  • Providing prompt, helpful, and accurate feedback to internal constituents regarding admissions and recruitment data.
  • Acting as a professional representative of the university and maintaining an up-to-date working knowledge of University programs and initiatives.
  • Support CRM Operations team with supervision and training of assigned student staff.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of experience in Admissions, Higher Education, or Database Management.
  • Successful experience working in an environment that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to managing concurrent projects, and the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively solve complex problems and navigate through ambiguous situations.
  • Experience with:
    • Slate and/or other CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
    • Peoplesoft and/or other SIS.
    • Perceptive Content and/or other Imaging Systems.
  • Aptitude for technology.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of student recruitment and admissions practices.

Salary

up to $16.25 / hr commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity
