Job Description
The Department of Humanities and
Social Sciences in the College of Arts & Science at GUST
invites applications for a full-time faculty position in World
history or any related field to start in Fall 2022. The ideal
candidate should hold a Ph.D. degree in history with an active
research record in related fields and has teaching experience
and specialization in Ancient History or Modern History. The State
of Kuwait does not recognize degrees from online universities.
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate who should possess
excellent communication skills in English must be ambitious,
self-motivated, and hard-working, with the ability to work both
individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team where
scientific creativity is essential. The applicant must have
completed a Ph.D. in accounting or any related field from a
reputable North American (U.S. or Canada) or European university
with at least three years of teaching experience after the doctoral
degree. Successful candidates should have published good quality
research papers and are expected to publish high-quality research
in leading peer-reviewed journals and work in close collaboration
with the research centers of the Graduate and Research office at
GUST.
Gulf University for Science and
Technology (GUST) was established in 2002 as Kuwait's first
private American-model liberal arts university and affiliated with
the University of Missouri Saint Louis (UMSL). GUST currently
offers several programs in Arts and Sciences and Business,
