The Department of English and Modern Language Studies of Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at Pace University invites applications for an anticipated Assistant Professor (tenure track) position in composition and rhetoric to begin September 2018. The position is located on the University’s Pleasantville, New York campus, which is about 40 miles north of Manhattan.
Applicants should have an earned PhD in composition and rhetoric or
the equivalent, evidence of teaching excellence in college
composition courses, administrative or leadership experience, such
as that associated with Writing in the Disciplines, Writing Across
the Curriculum, or a Writing Center program, and a commitment to
research with undergraduate students. Additional desirable
qualifications include experience with multimodal digital writing,
professional writing, and teaching writing online. In addition to
teaching, the successful candidate will direct the Writing Enhanced
Course program, which is part of the general education core of the
University.
