Champlain College is seeking applications for the position of Event Coordinator.

 

Job Description:

The Event Coordinator is a key organizer of events such as conferences, meetings, receptions, and celebrations. You will take the vision from inquiry to event completion and billing. Customer service skills are important as you will respond to leads and meet with customers. Logistical planning will be needed to place orders for room setup, catering, media services, decor, and cleaning.  An ability to troubleshoot is helpful while overseeing on-site events. This work requires collaboration with Event Center staff on logistics and billing. Occasional night and weekend hours are necessary and flexibility is a must. Please be able to work independently and as a team, bring a customer-centric lens, be detail-oriented, organized, and have good written and verbal communication skills.
