Northeast State Community College
President

The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) invites applications and nominations for the position of President of Northeast State Community College (NeSCC). The College's main campus is in the picturesque Blountsville, Tennessee, close to the Virginia border, and an area rich in natural beauty and recreational opportunities.

Northeast State is a comprehensive, two-year postsecondary institution that serves a 5-county area of Carter, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi, and Washington counties in Tennessee. The college enrolls more than 5,500 credit-seeking students and over 1,200 non-credit students. In addition to the main campus in Blountville, Northeast delivers programming at campuses in Elizabethton, Gray, Johnson City, and Kingsport. Northeast State is one of Tennessee's 13 community colleges. The President is the chief executive officer of the College and reports to the TBR through the Chancellor.

Northeast State is fully accredited by the Commission on Colleges and Schools of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. With a vision to be a premier learningcentered institution whose students and graduates will be among the bestprepared individuals to meet current and emerging needs, it is no surprise that Northeast State has been recognized as an innovative and entrepreneurial college.

The TBR is seeking a President to continue to move the College forward as a leader in higher education reform nationwide. The successful candidate will build upon the comprehensive academic and technical portfolio of the institution, maintain, and foster positive relationships with community and industry partners, and ensure the continued financial stability and integrity of the College.
