Position Summary

Trinity College in Hartford CT, an NCAA Division III, liberal arts and science college in the New England Small College Athletic Conference ( NESCAC ), is seeking to fill a full-time, faculty director position for our Cross Country & Track and Field programs. Trinity plays competitively in the NESCAC conference and the New England region. The candidate will be expected to help the programs continue to grow and compete at the highest level in NCAA division III cross country and track and field.

Responsibilities
In addition to all coaching, recruiting, budgeting, and team management responsibilities, the director will also assist with the implementation of Trinity’s new Wellness Curriculum, perform a secondary duty as assigned, assist with event management, and be expected to serve on department and/or college committees. This position also requires both night and weekend availability throughout the academic year.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required with a master’s degree preferred. Also, three to five years of coaching experience is needed, preferably at the intercollegiate level, and the candidate must be knowledgeable of the NESCAC and NCAA Division III philosophies.
