Job Description:

Information Technology Services reports to the division of Finance and Administration. ITS consists of a team of 42 dedicated professionals serving the College's 6,500 undergraduate and graduate students. To learn more about the College please visit www.oneonta.edu .

Duties include but not limited to: The Senior Technology Solutions Specialist must be detail-oriented and think critically about a wide variety of processes, policies, and systems, while also remaining creative and flexible to be a productive member of a large, complex team serving campus-wide needs. Primary areas of responsibility include working closely with Campus departments to review business processes, initiate and lead project management activities, and provide general technical assistance for the varied business solutions the Campus supports. The incumbent will analyze, outline, and present technology solutions and opportunities to fit business purposes as well as facilitate the end-to-end integration of the chosen solution.


Requirements:

Required qualifications: bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; a minimum of four years of implementation, operation, and business/analysis of enterprise applications; experience collaborating with stakeholders to set goals and achieve results; experience translating business processes, requirements and objectives into functional technology solutions and specifications; Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred: Five or more years of relevant experience, preferably in a college/university setting; experience with relational databases; experience with application integration; strong conceptual and problem-solving abilities; experience balancing priority needs with resources in a team environment; experience advising decision-makers; experience with enterprise CRM tools; experience with enterprise business intelligence and/or analytics tools; experience with collaboration tools such as Office365 or similar; experience working with and serving diverse populations.
