Position Title Business Services Administrative Assistant Residency Requirement Applicants must be a Colorado resident. Job Description This position attends the EHS main office reception desk. Answers and routes calls, in addition to organizing calendars and meetings. Instructs callers on how to submit work orders. Serves as vehicle coordinator which involves compiling drivers license numbers and document approval, and reconciling fuel receipts. Reconciles EHS credit card charges and manages office files. Manages paperwork and contracts for student workers. Orders office and kitchen supplies. Schedules Lab Safety and Hazardous Waste Generator Training for students. Updates training database. Assists with equipment acquisition reviews. Prepares and distributes mail. Proof reads and formats documents. Responsible for ordering and tracking uniforms. Minimum Qualifications One year of general clerical experience which included office front desk customer service assistance (phones/reception). (Part time work will be pro-rated). Daily interaction with facilities and campus staff, students, vendors and contractors requires this position to possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have strong attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior relevant state work experience.
  • Experience using work order software.
  • Previous experience working in an Environmental Health and Safety office.
