Summary/Objective
The Data Analytics Specialist provides analytical and administrative support to the Director of Data Analytics and to the Director of Alumni Relations. The position works extensively within the various CRM systems and would be required to pull data as requested and enter updates as needed. The Data Analytics Specialist provides support in completing external ranking surveys and managing alumni bio information. Assist with the preparation of materials needed for the compilation of data updates and contact information, reports on alumni contacts, invitations, and RSVPs.

- This position reports directly to the Director of Data Analytics with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Director, Alumni Relations. This position requires interaction with DAR (Development and Alumni Relations) and AU Office of Information Technology staffs.

- Four-year college degree or equivalent and a minimum of 1-2
years of experience or the equivalent in education, training or
experience preferably in an analytical role.
- Strong sense of responsibility, good managerial and
organizational skills, and exemplary customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to work
effectively with diverse constituencies.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and
entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Working familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly
Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working in a higher-education setting.
- Experience with (or an aptitude for learning) open-source data
analytics packages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, etc.).
- Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., Donor-Advance, Microsoft Dynamics,
HubSpot, Raiser-Edge, etc.)
- Familiarity with survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey,
Cvent, etc.).
