Job Description

Oversee digital and linear broadcasts for the ESPN family of networks including live sporting events ( football, soccer, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's swimming and diving, wrestling, gymnastics, baseball and softball), coach shows, national signing day shows and press conferences.

Serve in various production positions for events airing on the ESPN family of networks.

Direct, supervise and evaluate full-time and part-time staff during live productions.

Create production schedule for part-time employees for each broadcast event.

Hire and recruit part-time staff.

Create production books for each event in conjunction with Chief Broadcast Engineer.

Train staff on various production equipment including: Ross Carbonite switcher, Ross XPression graphics system, Evertz Dreamcatcher replay system, Click Effects Cross Fire, Calrec audio console, Evertz routing system, RTS intercom system and Grass Valley video cameras.

Collaborate with Broadcast Engineers on the maintenance of production facilities and equipment.

Oversee the staffing and assist with production of the main video board presentation and auxillary displays at Faurot Field and Mizzou Arena.

Attend all operation meetings on behalf of Broadcast Operations and be day-of-game contact for Operations staff.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Salary

Salary Range: $47,476 - $65,468

Salary commensurate with education and experience.

GGS Grade: 10

Shift

Monday thru Friday - 8:00am - 5:00pm; nights and weekends as required.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working with a Division I athletic program.
