Applications are invited for appointment as Non-Tenure Track Clinical Professor of Practice/ Clinical Associate Professor of Practice/Clinical Assistant Professor of Practice in Global Health Leadership in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 498866), to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a primary medical qualification registrable in Hong Kong and a specialist qualification in Public Health Medicine or Administrative Medicine (F.H.K.A.M. (Community Medicine)) or equivalent (e.g. F.F.P.H., F.A.F.P.H., F.R.C.P.(C) in Community Health, American Board certification in Preventive Medicine, etc.). A proven track record in developing/implementing programmatic activities related to global or public health, and experience in building interdisciplinary, international and multisectoral collaborations will be advantages.

The appointee will be expected to advance the School’s educational efforts by developing, teaching and managing educational and training initiatives related to global and public health using their clinical experience. He/She will also help enhance the School’s research work on public health practice and global health governance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. A monthly cash allowance will be offered to the successful candidate. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
