The University of Providence invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice President for Student Engagement. The University community seeks an experienced leader in student affairs leadership as well as athletics, and a strategist who will help develop the University's student affairs program. The University of Providence is a four-year, private, Catholic liberal arts university with a main campus located on 44 park-like acres in Great Falls, Montana, within driving distance to Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park. Founded by the Sisters of Providence in 1932, the University is a ministry of Providence Health System and continues to create academic programs to address current and future workforce needs for the healthcare system and industry. The University is fully accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, and offers 30 undergraduate and six graduate academic programs through the School of Health Professions and the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Nearly 400 students matriculate on campus and participate in numerous recreational and club activities and organizations. The Vice President for Student Engagement provides leadership and vision for the University's Student Engagement team that reflects innovation, accountability and excellence. The Vice President will be a part of a strong senior leadership team committed to renewing and reimagining the delivery of student learning and related services. The successful candidate will work closely with supportive senior leadership committed to institutional success, with an opportunity to make an immediate and lasting impact on the future of the University. The University seeks a highly skilled, experienced, visionary, student-centered and strategic-minded student affairs professional as its new Vice President. The new leader will bring a track record of implementing best practices, fresh thinking, and an eye for innovation and creativity.
