Lecturer - Marketing - Part-Time - Temp

Location: Powers Hall, Clemson University

The Department of Marketing in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University invites applications for one part-time Temporary Lecturer (non-tenure track). The position is currently expected for Fall 2022 only, but additional assignments may be considered based upon performance, departmental need, and availability of funding. Job duties will include teaching one in-person course at the graduate level in the topic area of digital marketing.

The preferred start date is August 15, 2022.

Clemson University is a premier land-grant, competitive admissions institution with approximately 20,000 undergraduate students. The Marketing program currently has approximately 750 marketing majors, 15 tenured/tenure-track faculty members, two clinical faculty members, and five full-time lecturers/professors of practice.

Clemson University is currently ranked 29th among national public universities (U.S. News & World Report) and is designated as a Carnegie R1 research university.

Clemson is a small college town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, located on the I-85 corridor between Atlanta and Charlotte and is 30 miles outside of Greenville, SC. Greenville has recently been named as a "Top-10 Fastest Growing U.S. City [#4]" (CNN), "Most Fun, Affordable Cities [#5]" (Bloomberg BusinessWeek), and "Best City for Young Adults [#13]" (Forbes).


Applicants must have at least a MS Degree in Marketing, MBA, or a strongly related field and work experience in the area of digital marketing.

Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
