Position Summary:
The EKU Construction Management program is seeking a Licensed professional surveyor to teach two classes in the undergraduate program: Plane Surveying- principles of surveying including the measurement of distances, elevations, and angles. Calculations for various operations, including traverse computations, introduction to the use of surveying instruments and note keeping.
Construction surveying: Application of surveying skills as they relate to horizontal and vertical control on construction projects activities include building layouts, centerline staking, earth work computations, and slope staking. The use of electronic instruments is emphasized.

This course will be taught in the Fall 2022 semester.

Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed professional surveyor. Bachelors degree in related field as well as 2 years of related experience.

Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field and four years of related experience.
