The School of Public Health at the Louisiana State University (LSU) Health Sciences Center in New Orleans is seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track position in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences at the Instructor level. The successful candidate will act as the liaison for all practice experience related activities and be responsible for community engagement and outreach. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and applying instructional materials for continuing education and will be expected to teach courses as assigned. The individual must also be able to collaborate with current faculty on existing projects and educational endeavors.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Public Health
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in writing and editing materials
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills
Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Public Health
- Experience in program implementation and management
- Community engagement experience
- Ability to analyze data and present information in useable formats

LSU Health New Orleans is located within the biomedical
district of New Orleans. It consists of six professional schools
and twelve Centers of Excellences. The School of Public Health
