The School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University seeks to hire a full-time (1.0 FTE) 9-month (academic year) Lecturer in the Fashion program with an emphasis on Fashion Illustration and Design, beginning August, 2022. This position will serve online and/or in-person undergraduate students.

Required Qualifications:

• Master of Fine Arts degree
• Demonstrated evidence of commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching with at least three years’ experience teaching in higher education

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to teach all levels (upper-division and lower-division) of undergraduate courses
• Ability to teach and develop online and hybrid courses
• Proficient in fashion illustration techniques, including digital technologies

The application deadline is May 28, 2022. Applications will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis for a reserve pool.  Applications in the reserve pool may then be reviewed in the order in which they were received until the position is filled.
