West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Family Medicine seeks a Family Medicine Clinical Psychologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Clinical Health, Clinical or Counseling Psychology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. For appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, it is expected that candidates sustain an outstanding, extramurally supported research program.

Qualifications: applicants must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree or foreign equivalent. Candidates must be board certified / eligible in Psychology. For appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, a demonstrated track-record of leadership, excellent communication skills, and publications in high-impact journals are required. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Here, you'll have an opportunity to join a well-established residency program faculty within a prestigious academic medical setting allowing you to make an impact not just on the future generations of Family Medicine providers – but the health of the entire state of West Virginia through our multidisciplinary Patient Centered Medical Home model. A majority of your schedule will be dedicated to the outpatient clinical practice but there will also be opportunities to round with the inpatient team throughout the year. The remaining portion of your schedule will involve oversight of psychology trainees, teaching or conducting research activities.
