Job Description

The Department of Medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a PhD Endocrinology Research Biochemist. The incumbent should have research experience in a broad spectrum of muscle and liver disorders and a desire to thrive in a dynamic well-supported academic medical center and School of Medicine.

In the fall of 2021, University of Missouri will launch the NextGen Precision Health Institute, which will focus primarily on Cardiometabolic, Cancer and Neuroscience research. The successful candidate for this search will join other world class researchers and clinicians focused on bringing research to translational precision medicine for the prevention and treatment of endocrine disorders. We particularly want to hear from candidates who are already involved in endocrine, muscle and liver research and especially want to talk to candidates from diverse backgrounds.
