Position Summary:

The Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health seeks a board certified or board eligible neurologist with fellowship training in Headache or equivalent experience to join our Headache Program at the UW Hospitals, VA Hospital and UW Health clinics. The position includes opportunities for clinical, teaching and research activities in an academic environment with adult and pediatric neurologists and faculty in other services including neuropsychology, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, clinical neurophysiology and basic science departments. Clinical duties include outpatient clinics, inpatient attending and procedures. Candidates must hold an M.D. or DO, be board certified or eligible in neurology and have or have the ability to obtain an Wisconsin medical license.

Principal Duties:

80% Clinical activities include outpatient clinics, inpatient attending and procedures/
10% Participate in extramurally funded clinical research to the extent that the activity can be integrated into clinical activities.
10% Teach and mentor undergraduates, graduate students, residents, fellows, other attending physicians/providers, and the public.

The successful candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Additional Information:

For appointment at Associate or full Clinical Professor levels, the candidate must meet criteria as defined in guidelines for appointment or promotion on CHS track in the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.
