Position Summary:

Clinical teaching and patient care in the emergency medicine environment. Provide medical direction and clinical care of patients in the Emergency Department at UWHC and/or The American Center (TAC).

Principal Duties:

Responsibilities will include the clinical care of emergency department patients and time spent in education and teaching activities to medical students, residents and other learners in the academic medicine setting. Additional time will be devoted to administrative responsibilities.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

MD or DO; Board Eligibile/Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Completed accredited Emergency Medicine residency training program.

Candidates for Clinical Associate Professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the Clinical track.

License or Certificate:

Wisconsin medical license or eligible.
