JOB SUMMARY
Manages and supervises facilities operations and maintenance activities, including but not limited to planning, directing, developing and scheduling the activities of landscaping and grounds maintenance, building and equipment maintenance and custodial services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver’s license
Manages and supervises facilities operations and maintenance activities, including but not limited to planning, directing, developing and scheduling the activities of landscaping and grounds maintenance, building and equipment maintenance and custodial services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, directs, schedules and manages the operation of landscaping and grounds maintenance programs and activities to include: grading and seeding programs, removal of snow and ice, application of salt, inspections, recommendations, training employees, inventory control, budgeting and other related responsibilities
- Plans, directs, schedules and manages the operation of building and maintenance to include: general building maintenance, carpentry, painting, locksmith assistance, inventory control, budgeting and other related responsibilities
- Plans, directs, schedules, and manages the operation of custodial services, programs, and activities to include: general housekeeping, inventory control, budgeting, and other related responsibilities
- Performs interviews, hires and manages employees, and serves as a liaison with other departments and works closely with management
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and make informed and viable decisions
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute meeting all deadlines and due dates
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is desired.
