About the Opportunity

The Speech-Language and Hearing Center (SLHC) at Northeastern University is seeking 2 part-time audiologists to work 8-10 hours/week each. The responsibilities of one audiologist will be to conduct adult audiological evaluations (i.e., pure tones and speech audiometry, tympanometry, acoustic reflexes, OAE;s). The responsibilities of the other audiologist will be to conduct evaluations and select and fit amplification and musician hearing protection. The 2 positions may be combined into 1 position if a qualified audiologist was interested in working 16-20 hours/week. These positions will be non-benefits eligible.

Audiologists within the SLHC will provide services following the policies & procedures of the SLHC, ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, maintains practice licensure and certification, completes all documentation, and participate in any programs or initiatives required by the Clinical Director or regulatory agencies (e.g. billing requirements, performance improvement activities).

Qualifications:
  • Completion of at least a Master's degree in Audiology
  • ASHA CCC-A and Massachusetts license to practice Audiology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and orientation to client-centered practice.
